CyberSecure Canada Certification
CyberSecure Canada stands as the nation's premier cybersecurity certification program for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) that typically have fewer than 500 employees. In a strategic partnership with Innovation, Science and Economic Development (ISED) and the Communications Security Establishment (CSE), the CyberSecure Canada Certification (CSC) is a purpose-built program to enhance the cyber resilience of SMEs.
As an Accredited Practitioner of CyberSecure Canada, IT Directorship™ offers comprehensive preparation assistance and certification assurance. Our approach expedites the path for organizations seeking to attain the CyberSecure Canada Certification.
Federally recognized Cyber Certification for small and midsized enterprises.
CyberSecure Canada is a voluntary federal certification program that has been designed to help improve cybersecurity practices, promote trust, and provide a competitive advantage that will result in increased consumer confidence in the Canadian digital economy.
The program aims to raise the cybersecurity level among Canadian SMEs, increase consumer confidence, promote international standardization and better position SMEs to compete globally.
Certification can be seen as an end goal. Whereas, CyberSurance™ can be leveraged to continually improve ones cybersecurity posture and mature cyber capabilities beyond the foundational level.
Increase competitive advantage and stakeholder trust
Establish a foundational cyber security baseline
Reduce the likelihood and impact of a cyberattack
Increase awareness of cyber security capabilities and risk posture
Improve return on cyber security investments
Lower your cyber insurance premiums
Who is the CyberSecure Canada certification standard intended for?
The current CAN/CIOSC 104:2021 standard was specifically designed for organizations that do not have the resources or capabilities to develop customized cyber security plans. It includes a set of foundational cyber security controls which (when implemented) can serve as a cyber security baseline. The standard is intended to be used for a conformity assessment.
